Academics

The ASysT Institute sponsors a cohort-based Masters Degree program that will culminate in the award of a Masters of Engineering is Systems Engineering. The program consists of 10 courses (30 credit hours), three of which are research courses (9 credit hours). The current cohort program, scheduled for graduation in October 2008, has a limited number of seats in selected courses that are available to government employees on a case-by-case basis.

Individuals can also earn a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering through Stevens Institute of Technology courses taught at the ASysT Institute. Additional information on the Stevens Institute Masters of Engineering in Systems Engineering can be found at the SDOE website.

Current education offerings include:

  • Systems Engineering Master’s Degree Program: The ASysT Institute hosts the Steven’s Institute of Technology Master’s in Systems Engineering degree program. The Systems Engineering degree is a multidisciplinary program that includes a blend of engineering, systems thinking, and management topics.
  • Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering Management: This four course Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering Management introduces the leadership, interpersonal, financial, organizational, and systems integration skills necessary to provide project teams with better strategic focus and enhanced productivity.
  • Individual Professional Development: For-credit courses offered through the ASysT Institute can be taken for individual professional development. The ASysT Institute will also offer not-for-credit short courses teaching skills to assist the systems engineering practitioner identify and solve real-world problems.
