Professionals working in national security, homeland security, intelligence, and public safety face complex and interrelated issues that are best addressed by the application of systems thinking principles. The ASysT Institute sponsors education and training designed to aid professionals in applying systems thinking to the problems faced by their organizations. Topics include systems and enterprise architecture and governance, complex systems, agile enterprises, and resilient enterprises.  The ASysT Institute offers seminars, workshops and short courses, tailored to both individual education as well as customized group offerings to help organizations focus on problems of specific interest to them. Publications in both scholarly journals and other press are also important to Competency Development.
